Klamath Falls is Going South! Klamath Basin gets ready for lobster and more! United Airlines announces new, nonstop service to San Francisco from Klamath Falls, Oregon beginning July 7th. The service will be operated by United Express partner carrier SkyWest Airlines. The San Francisco International Airport and the United Airlines hub that operates there, will provide for a great domestic and international gateway for the regional community.

Mayor Todd Kellstom said that new service has been a major priority of the City. “With the introduction of this service, the regional community must take this opportunity to get off the road and support local hometown air service. It is time for the community to use the quality air service available locally.”

“This is a great day for the community,” stated Airport Director Derek V. Martin. “The Basin now has choices for passenger service to and from the Basin. Whether traveling to domestic or international destinations, all these trips can now originate in Klamath Falls.”

“SkyWest/United Express is pleased to offer what travelers want - new, convenient, nonstop service to more places in the U.S.,” said Mike Thompson, SkyWest's vice president — market development. “This summer, United Express Klamath Falls passengers can enjoy access to the City by the Bay - and beyond.”
